Intimate Room with a Working Fireplace

A tall four-poster king bed and a working fireplace make this second-floor room a favorite at our historic DownEast Maine B&B. The large room features original plank pine flooring. Wing back chairs offer comfortable seating and an antique desk offers beautiful writing space.

The antique clawfoot tub includes a shower fixture as well. Room 4 also has a window air-conditioner.

Join Us for Piano Music in the Parlor!

Held on the third Saturday of each month from January through April, the series features pianist Clair Maxwell performing familiar, gently nostalgic piano music in the Inn’s historic parlor. Each performance is followed by dessert, tea, and time to linger and connect.

The January program, A Winter’s Night, embraces the stillness of winter with warm, reflective music and a cozy atmosphere. Seating is intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate.
