This area is filled with people who do not like to hibernate in the winter! We cross-country ski, snowshoe, go for a sleigh ride, contra dance, ice fish, play duplicate bridge, take cooking classes and eat good food, attend classical music concerts, listen to poetry, shop at craft fairs, and watch plays and movies. We celebrate New Year’s Eve in Blue Hill with free live music and entertainment in over a dozen venues—all within walking distance of the Blue Hill Inn. Sponsored by Peninsula Pans, our local steel drum band supporter, well over 1,500 revelers attend.

Our Cape House Suite and Studio are designed for the comfort of year-round guests. The Suite boasts a wood-burning fireplace, visible from the four-poster king-sized bed as well as from the sitting area overlooking the deck. Both have televisions, DVD players, and CD players. The fully stocked kitchens allow guests the freedom to prepare meals at their home-away-from-home. We leave snacks, both savory and sweet, as well as a varied continental breakfast prepared with the guests in mind.

As in the summer, our Cape House accommodations offer guests more privacy. Innkeeping staff are only a phone call away to assist with concierge needs. Housekeeping is arranged to suit the desires of the guests.
